The timer lasts for only 180 seconds in the first round, 270 in the second and 360 in the third, and in any case you want to be the first to finish constructing your ship, not the last. Everything else has to go immediately from the pile to your ship as is. You can only claim up to two components that you don't immediately fit on your ship, but you wish them for future use. If you like it, fit it immediately on your ship as the continuation of an existing component. As soon as the timer starts running, players can simultaneously grab and look at one component only each if you don't like it, leave it face down and keep on searching. All these components are thrown in a pile, upside down, with the players having limited time to pick them up and create a cohesive space truck. There are ten types of components: cabins (for crew), engines (for movement), cannons (for resolving disputes and thwarting enemies), double engines and cannons (which needed batteries), batteries (guess what for), shield generators (for protection), cargo holds (for storage), special cargo holds (for storage of hazardous materials), structural modules (that facilitate the connections) and alien life support components (for your aliens to be comfortable).
